President Donald Trump is now putting pressure on Republicans to end the ongoing government shutdown, calling for an end to the filibuster rule which would allow Republicans to pass bills with a simple majority rather than the 60 votes which requires them to work with Democrats. It comes as some federal workers are filing for unemployment for the first time and all SNAP food assistance is scheduled to end on Saturday. NBC’s Ryan Nobles reports for TODAY.
