Nov. 23, 2025, 3:00 PM ESTBy Doha MadaniThe FBI announced the capture of a man wanted for his alleged role in a drug-trafficking network that authorities say is led by a former Olympic snowboarder on the bureau’s Ten Most Wanted list.Rasheed Pascua Hossain, 32, was arrested Friday by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, according to the Canadian Broadcasting Company. His profile on the FBI “Most Wanted” list was updated afterward to note that he had been “captured.”Authorities say Hossain helped facilitate money laundering for what federal officials described as a criminal enterprise run by failed Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding. Authorities named Wedding when announcing a federal indictment last week, saying that he and Hossain were still at large, along with one other suspect.Hossain is accused of concealing drug trafficking proceeds and allegedly using the money to further facilitate the criminal conspiracy. Federal court records were not immediately available for Hossain, and its unclear if he has retained an attorney.The FBI did not respond to NBC News’ request for more information about Hossain’s arrest.Wedding is still on the run, and officials believe he is being sheltered by drug cartels.Federal officials say Wedding oversees an enterprise responsible for importing more than 60 tons of cocaine into Los Angeles each year. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi described him as controlling “one of the most prolific and violent drug-trafficking organizations in this world.”“He is currently the largest distributor of cocaine in Canada,” Bondi said at a press conference Wednesday.Wedding allegedly ordered the assassinations of rival traffickers and put a “multimillion dollar bounty” on a witness expected to testify against him. That witness was fatally shot at a restaurant in Colombia in January, according to the Justice Department. Court documents filed in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and cited by the CBC indicate another witness had turned on him and “agreed to assist U.S. authorities in the investigation of Wedding’s organization, specifically in regard to the January 2025 murder.”Last week’s indictment also accuses Wedding of ordering the deaths of two members of a family in retaliation for a stolen drug shipment.Prosecutors charged Wedding with murder, witness tampering and intimidation, money laundering and drug trafficking. A $15 million reward is being offered for information that might lead to his arrest.Wedding represented Team Canada in the 2002 Winter Olympics but did not medal. He was later convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine after being caught traveling to San Diego to purchase the drug with two other men.At his 2010 sentencing hearing, Wedding appeared to show remorse, saying, “I guess I lost my way.”He was released from federal prison in December 2011.Last week, 10 people were arrested as part of the federal investigation dubbed “Operation Giant Slalom.” The FBI is still searching for Mexican national Bianca Canastillo-Madrid and Canadian Tommy Demorizi, believed to be hiding in the Dominican Republic.Doha MadaniDoha Madani is a senior breaking news reporter for NBC News. Mayfield had his left shoulder checked in the second quarter after taking a hard hit on a scramble, and grimaced later in the drive after throwing a touchdown pass to Tez Johnson. He walked to a medical tent not moving his left arm.After his left shoulder was checked between drives, Mayfield wound up to throw as far as he could on the final play before halftime, but after throwing an interception, Mayfield immediately reached for the same shoulder and was helped off the field.Mayfield had endured a brutal first half as Tampa fell behind 31-7, completing nine of his 19 passes for 41 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Nov. 23, 2025, 6:19 PM ESTBy Andrew GreifOn their way to a Super Bowl appearance last season, the Kansas City Chiefs could do no wrong in close games, posting an 12-0 record in games decided by one score or less. Yet they entered Week 12 of the NFL season just 5-5 and facing the possibility of having a losing record through 11 games for the first time since 2012 because the Chiefs were no longer the league’s best team in the clutch — 0-5 in one-score games.That changed, finally, Sunday against Indianapolis. Trailing by as many as 11 points with a minute left in the third quarter, the Chiefs scored the final 14 points to beat the Colts in overtime, 23-20. The win gives Kansas City (6-5) a 59 percent chance to make the postseason; a loss would have dropped that likelihood to 31 percent, according to NFL statistics.”This is exactly what we needed,” Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said. “…Everybody made plays when we needed it.”The narrow win would not have happened without a defensive turnaround. After allowing the Colts (8-3) to score four times on their first six drives, the Chiefs held them scoreless on their final four possessions, all four of which ended in three-and-out and produced just 13 yards combined.The circumstances suggested the defensive stand was unlikely. Though Kansas City ranked eighth-best this season in defensive points added, and sixth-best on EPA allowed on dropbacks in the fourth quarter and overtime, Indianapolis posed perhaps their most difficult offensive challenge of the season, and led the NFL in yards per game. Colts running back Jonathan Taylor entered the game leading the NFL in rushing yards, touchdown runs and total touchdowns. But Taylor finished with a season-low 66 yards from scrimmage. And Indianapolis went nowhere over the fourth quarter and overtime even though they weren’t affected by the issues that had cooled their hot start. Quarterback Daniel Jones committed three turnovers and was sacked nine times in his first eight games, but in his last three games had seven turnovers and 12 sacks. The Chiefs didn’t get a single turnover, or sack, but still held the Colts to 11 points lower than their NFL-leading season average.Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo “had a great plan defensively against one of the best offenses in the National Football League,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said.Kansas City has made the playoffs 10 consecutive seasons, the second-longest streak in NFL history. Continuing it was in jeopardy with four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter when Kansas City got the ball back backed up only two yards from its own end zone. When quarterback Patrick Mahomes found Rashee Rice for a 47-yard gain, it increased the Chiefs’ probability of winning by more than 20 percent, per the NFL.”You could feel the energy of the defense, of the stadium, and it was kind of that, ‘We’re not going to lose this game,'” Mahomes said. “We’re going to find a way to win, even though not everything has gone our way to this moment, we’re going to find a way.”Andrew GreifAndrew Greif is a sports reporter for NBC News Digital.

It’s just a list of the points it’s been discussed right now, and it is an agreed line with Ukraine and the United States that it will be a constructive reconciling process,” she said.On Saturday night, several U.S. lawmakers questioned whether the peace proposal was drafted by the U.S. or Russia.Sen. Most areas will see 2 to 6 inches of snowfall, but some could get up to 9 inches. Wind gusts may reach 50 mph.That same system will cross into the Dakotas and Minnesota on Tuesday, bringing periods of rain and snow.
